Description

Iberian acorn-fed ham 1910 El Serrano made by the Cardene family in Fuentes de León. Cardeno has more than 1,400Has. where he raises his Iberian pigs in freedom for more than 100 years in one of the most privileged holm oaks in the south of Extremadura. A tree density much higher than the average facilitates a diet especially rich in acorns. All 1910 El Serrano products come from 100% Iberian breed animals that are handmade. Adding exclusively sea salt from the Bay of Cadiz and without haste, with a minimum of 36 months in totally natural cellars and caves. Cárdeno has been internationally recognized in 2014 with the Superior Taste Award for the best Gourmet foods.
