Información sobre Cebo Ham Campo 100% Iberian Dehesa Grande - Salamanca
Cebo Ham Campo 100% Iberian Dehesa Grande, one of the most important Livestock Cooperatives in Salamanca. The members of this cooperative only cure the pieces from the Iberian pigs raised on their own farms located throughout the Natural Park of the Arribes del Duero. A unique natural environment that follows the course of the Duero River through the provinces of Zamora and Salamanca in which there are large extensions of Holm Oaks and Cork Oaks.
A 100% Iberian field bait ham is not at all common among Iberian ham producers. In general, these are "verdeo" pigs, slaughtered already at the end of spring. 100% Iberian pigs fed with the fruit of the holm oak that when the date of slaughter arrives do not reach their weight. They stay a few more weeks in the field, their diet is supplemented with quality cereals and therefore they are qualified as Field Bait. It is a real bargain of Iberian ham.
