How does Ibericomio.es work?

On the Website, manufacturers (hereinafter, Suppliers) of pork products ibérico encourage the sale of their products. Each Supplier will provide precise information on prices and delivery times for each of the products offered, as well as their general conditions and return policy. The Suppliers are the ones who are obliged to deliver the products that appear on the website, always in accordance with their own General or Particular Conditions of Contract. IBERICOMIO S.L. is not the owner of the products or services offered.  IBERICOMIO S.L. does not undertake to provide the services indicated in the offers or to deliver the products indicated therein.  IBERICOMIO S.L. acts exclusively as an intermediary between the users of the Website and the Suppliers for the specific offers presented on the Website.


Who can be a ibericomio.es user?

The Website is free to access and free of charge to all Internet users. Registration is not required except to make a purchase, request to send information or subscribe to newsletter or similar. The User's registration is required for the purchase of the products offered on the Website, and acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy is essential. From the moment of acceptance of these, the status of User is obtained. IBERICOMIO S.L. reserves the right to make, at any time and without prior notice, any modification or update of the contents of the Rules of Use and, in general, of all the elements that make up the design and configuration of the Website.

In the event of changes to these Terms of Use, the Website will inform all registered users so that they can accept or reject them. In the event of rejection, you will lose your user status. The services provided by the Website are available to users over the age of 18 who are able to perform legal contracts under applicable law. The User guarantees that he/she is at least 18 years old and that all the information he/she has registered on the site is true and true. The Website may, in its sole discretion, deny access to or use of the Site by any person or entity. In the user registration, the user's account identification will be defined by your email address and a password. To access their account, the user will need their email address and the aforementioned password with at least six characters. What are the responsibilities as a User?

Access to the Website and any unauthorised use of the information contained therein are the sole responsibility of the person making it. IBERICOMIO S.L. shall not be liable for any consequence, damage or prejudice that may occur as a result of such access or use.  By way of example, and in no case limiting or exclusive, the User undertakes not to carry out any of the following activities:

  • a) Offend, insult, discredit or harass other people in any common area of the Website. In the same way, the user undertakes not to use the contact tools of other users to carry out this type of activity.
  • (b) Introducing or disseminating content or propaganda of a racist, homophobic, xenophobic, paedophile, excessively violent nature, in favour of terrorism or in violation of human rights.
  • c) Posting images of other people without their consent.
  • d) Defame or slander companies, collectives, NGOs, or any other group of individuals.
  • e) Plagiarizing, copying or using the content of other people or media without their consent.
  • f) Impersonate other persons, groups or legal entities.
  • g) Carrying out commercial exploitation activities, such as the promotion of products and services, without the authorization of IBERICOMIO S.L.; generate spam, transmit unsolicited commercial messages, use the Service as a forwarding tool to another Website, or promote your site by posting multiple and identical messages in different spaces on ibericomio.es.
  • h) Duplicate content. That is, copying and publishing with or without the author's authorization, and in a systematic way, content published on other websites.
  • i) Offer, sell or exchange services and products that the administrators of ibericomio.es deem, in their sole discretion, to be inappropriate.
  • j) Add any software that hinders the normal operation of the system or any code, file or program that offers advertising through pop-up windows (POPups). In the same way, the user undertakes not to publish content that violates the conditions of use of the advertising services used in ibericomio.es.
  • k) Misuse the functionalities of ibericomio.es to self-promote or improve the positioning of any website in search engine results.

The User will be liable for damages of any kind that IBERICOMIO S.L. may suffer, due to or as a result of the breach of any of the obligations described as well as any other included in these Terms of Use and/or those established by the Law in relation to the use of ibericomio.es.  IBERICOMIO S.L. will ensure that there is respect for the current legal system, and will be entitled to interrupt, at its sole discretion, the Service or exclude the User from the Website in the event of alleged commission, complete or incomplete, of any of the crimes or misdemeanours typified by the Penal Code in force, or in the event of observing any conduct that, in the opinion of IBERICOMIO S.L., is contrary to these Rules of Use.   the Law, the rules established by IBERICOMIO S.L. or its collaborators/Suppliers or may disturb the proper functioning, image, credibility and/or prestige of ibericomio.es or its collaborators/Suppliers. The User expressly accepts and acknowledges that the Providers shall be solely responsible for compliance with the rights and obligations arising from the provision of the Services and the terms and conditions applicable to each of them.


How to make a purchase on ibericomio.es?

  Making a purchase on our Website is very simple. If you are registered as a User, you will only have to provide the data that we will request so that the Supplier can carry out the shipment with guarantees of success - Name and surname of the recipient, delivery address, a contact telephone number for delivery and an email address for the tracking of the purchase. This data, as indicated in the Privacy Policy, is stored in our database to improve our relationship and provide the User with information of interest. We will only provide the Supplier with the data that is strictly necessary for delivery. In the event that you are not a Registered User, we will need you to register as such by providing us with the basic information that we will request and we will need you to accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy of ibericomio.es


What does the Price include? Shipping costs

  All products offered on the Website are expressed in EUROS and always include VAT. IBERICOMIO S.L. reserves the right to modify prices at any time, although the products already purchased and with the purchase process completed, will remain at the price in force at that time.   A simplified invoice is issued by the Supplier. In the case of requesting a detailed invoice, the User must indicate this in the purchase process and provide all the necessary information for the issuance of the invoice. In general, the prices include shipping costs for deliveries in the mainland territory of the Kingdom of Spain. However, these may NOT be included in the price of the offer and will be indicated in the general or specific conditions of each Supplier.


What payment methods are available on ibericomio.es?

Once the User has provided us with the necessary data for shipment, he/she may choose between the following means of payment:

    • - Secure payment by credit/debit card, in this case you will be redirected through a secure connection to the REDSYS payment platform - CAIXABANK - to enter the card details.
    • - Payment by PayPal, in this case, the user accepts that the rules of use of ibericomio.es prevail over those that may be established by the means of payment PayPal with the user. Therefore, in the event of any incident related to the product purchased, the user will always, in any case and circumstance, contact the owner of the ibericomio.es in the first instance to solve the incident by following the steps detailed in these rules of use in the section: "Can a product already delivered be returned?".
    • - Payment by BANK TRANSFER. We will provide you with a current account number to which to make the deposit. Once our bank confirms that the payment has been made, we will proceed to formalize the order.
    • - Payment via BIZUM. Select the Bizum payment option and it will redirect you to the payment gateway.   All you have to do is enter your phone number and the Bizum code received by SMS or directly in your bank's app. IMPORTANT: You must bear in mind that you have activated Bizum for payment in e-commerce. Different from Bizum between individuals
    • - Payment via Scalapay - Pay in 3 interest-free  installments.When you select this payment option, the system will ask you for a series of data to approve the operation and if everything is correct, the first amount of the payment will be charged to your credit/debit card.
    • - Payment by Up Cheque Gourmet. You will be able to use your Up Gourmet credit card to pay at Ibericomio.

In either case, the purchase process is considered complete when payment has been made. At that time, the User will receive a confirmation in their email with the details of the purchase made.


When do I receive my purchase?

The delivery of the product already purchased is managed directly by the Supplier of the same according to the particular conditions that the latter establishes in its offer. Delivery will be made to the address provided for this purpose by the user within the period indicated in its offers by each Supplier. This deadline may be altered by the trucking company's terms of service. Delay in delivery over the deadlines that appear in the offer of each supplier will never be the responsibility of the owners of this portal nor will it be cause for a refund of the amounts paid by the user. In any case, the maximum delivery period, except in cases of force majeure, is 30 working days from the end of the purchase process.

As soon as the Supplier provides ibericomio.es with the information regarding the details of the shipment - the company that makes the shipment and the tracking number - it will be sent to the User. Both the Supplier and Ibericomio will provide the transport company with all the indications and suggestions that the user transmits to us. Neither the Supplier nor Ibericomio can guarantee that the company in charge of making the delivery will be able to make the delivery in a specific time slot.  

Can I return a product that has already been delivered?

Users may cancel the purchase without having to justify their decision by withdrawing from the contract. In this case, the collection costs will be borne by the user. The return of the Product may be requested by e-mail sent to: ayuda@ibericomio.es indicating the order reference and contact details of the user. By the same means, the user will be replied indicating the steps to follow in the process of withdrawing the purchase. The maximum period to exercise the right of withdrawal is 14 calendar days from the date on which the order has been delivered.

As with any physical or online purchase you make, in order to accept any return and/or withdrawal, it is necessary that the product retains its original labelling. In our case, it is essential that:
In the case of ham or paleta, the piece has intact its flange or inviolable seal of the quality standard of the ibérico which is the only means of identifying the piece.  In the case of sliced or sausages, they must remain with their original labelling and packaging

Before paying any amount to the user, the user must return the purchased products in perfect condition (not damaged, dirty or opened), properly protected, with their original labelling and packaging. The payment of the amount will be made when the product has arrived at the Supplier's facilities.

IBERICOMIO S.L. It reserves the right to pass on the costs incurred if the product is not in perfect condition.

Once the Supplier has received the returned Products and after checking that they retain the flange/seal or labelling and good condition of the same, the amount corresponding to the returned units will be reimbursed by credit to the card with which the payment was made or by bank transfer to the current account indicated by the user.

The return costs that may be charged to the User will depend on the nature of each Product and the means used to ship it.

In the case of returns for:

  • - Excess topping bacon
  • - Under- or over-cured product
  • - Excess salt

The producer's tasting panel will evaluate the product against industry standards. If this panel considers that the product meets the standards of the product and its category, the amount paid by the customer will be refunded, minus the return costs. If the panel confirms that the product has any of the irregularities mentioned in the previous paragraph, the user will be offered one of the following two options: the replacement, at no charge to the user, of a product equal to the one purchased, or the refund of the total amount paid by the user. 

Withdrawal will not be allowed when, due to the nature of the Products purchased, it is impossible to do so, without prejudice to the corresponding claim for damages suffered, including, in particular:

(i) Products made in accordance with the consumer's indications or specifications or that have been customized for the consumer;

(ii) Products that have expired within the withdrawal period;

(iii) Products that are not in perfect condition

(iv) Products that have been consumed in a percentage greater than 20% of their original weight, taking as such the one that appears on the delivery note from the Supplier's facilities.

We also inform you that the European Commission has an online platform to resolve legal disputes, which is available at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. You will be able to file claims through the aforementioned online platform to resolve legal disputes.
